Very Special Delivery!!

Introducing a very special little man!  His mommy and I have been great friends for many many years!   When she told me she was expecting, to say I was completely over joyed would have been an understatement...then she told me she wanted me to photograph the baby.  Well talk about nervous!  Because she is such a dear friend I wanted  nothing but perfection!  So together we had been planning this photo shoot her entire pregnancy, thinking of different things to try. Since this little guys mommy has a love for music we definitely had to incorporate that!  The day of the shoot was fantastic, we had asked a couple of our very close friends to join us.  We had so much fun hanging out together that day, cuddling and photographing this sweet sweet baby!  There is nothing better than new life, and old friends!!!!!  Welcome to the world little man!! I love you already!!!

She was 6 days new when I met and photographed her!  It's true what they say, the best things do come in the smallest packages!  Welcome to the family baby girl!!

Happy Mother's Day!

This was a session that was LONG overdue!  It was a Mother's Day present that took over a year to complete!  It's hard to get a whole (busy) family together for a day!  With some of them living in Calgary and some of them living in Edmonton, we decided to meet in the middle at Buffalo Lake!  The weather was perfect, unlike our first attempt to get together, which was totally rained out!  It was a great day at the beach!   PS-These are my cousins...don't they look great!

16 Adults~10 Kids~2 Babies & 5 Dogs = A pretty fun day!

There is nothing better than a BIG family, and this family is proof of that!  I was lucky enough to spend a Father's Day with them, a day filled with lots of laughs!  We took the photos in front of a very special old tree.  That tree has been in the family for many many years and has been a backdrop for alot of photos.  Most of the family can probably remember having photos taken there as a kid or on their wedding day!  I even remember having MY grad photos taken by the tree 20 years ago!!!!   I have known this family most of my life, they're all so warm and loving, they just make you feel like you're a part of the family as well!  Such great people! :)  It's kind of a big post...we took alot of photos! Enjoy!

BFFs~Grad 2011

This year I had the pleasure of photographing three grads who had grown up together and were great friends!  We all hung out for the afternoon, had a huge long photo shoot, lots of laughs, some shots, and a great time! I enjoyed getting to know them a bit that day, they were all very sweet!  I wish them the best!
